About this service
The Summer Settlement Program (SSP) takes place for four weeks in July and provides settlement services while responding to diverse settlement needs. SSP will be delivered in a wide variety of partner agencies and hubs that newcomers frequent, as well as mobile services to prioritize reaching clients who may not have easy access to settlement workers. The settlement workers will provide practical guidance to assist the client in coping with the challenges of everyday living (e.g. housing, transportation and access to social and health services). This includes information about the local community and information on their rights and obligations.
