About this service

Youth engagement has never been higher at ACCT! In April of 2018, we began building our youth program and started working with more youth than ever before. Our goal is to create and sustain anti-racist/anti-oppressive programing that youth of all backgrounds regularly engage in, not just access once and never return to. Our small youth team facilitated 244 youth sessions this year which youth accessed 3400 times!

Our program is successful because we create programs with youth that reflect their priorities and demonstrate a commitment to the lives of youth we work with. Outside of programs, youth are supported through Instagram chat groups where we plan activities together and discuss issues youth are up against.

Some programs are recurring while other projects and programs are created on an ongoing basis based on emerging needs.
