About this organization

United Hatzalah helps save lives by getting medical help to people very quickly. Started in Israel in 2006, they now have 7,000 volunteers who help with over 2,000 emergencies every day. These volunteers come from all backgrounds - Jewish, Muslim, Christian, and Druze - and can reach people in three minutes or less using special motorcycles with medical equipment. While they mostly work in Israel, they also help during disasters around the world. The Canadian office, opened in 2014, helps raise money and support for this free emergency service.
