About this organization
Toronto is home to many mosques and even fewer Islamic Centres. There resided a great need to establish a community centre in the heart of downtown Toronto. Seeing this need, in 2010, a group of brothers along with assistance and support from the local community were able to rent a 2,000 Sq feet unit. This was the beginning of Toronto Islamic Centre (TIC). As word spread of this community centre so did people wanting to be part of this community. Meanwhile, there was a thirst for from the average Canadian for a new way to live their lives, and they found it in Islam. Alhamdulillah TIC was able to provide the resources and guidance for many people to accept Islam. As the community grew so did its needs. This was the case for the past 9 years. In March of 2019 the community was informed by the Landlord that they would not renew their lease and we needed to find a new place.

Toronto Islamic Centre is open Monday to Friday: 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
