About this organization
The New Mom Project is a Toronto-based charity committed to serving new and expecting Mothers in need. There are a large number of women starting their lives as new mothers without access to the basic necessities to care for their newborns and the New Mom Project strives to ensure that all new families have the best possible start.
While our donation centre is permanently closed, families continues to need help. We evolved to provide support virtually to new moms in need.
Clients will still be referred to the New Mom Project through health care agencies, instead of visiting a donation centre to collect items, the New Mom Project will deliver a pre-made package of baby products directly to the clients home. This ensures that everyone who needs help gets it as soon as possible and without the added stress of having to travel to collect their items. It also means that we can now expand our reach and serve even more families across the province.
