About this organization
The Catholic Children's Aid Society of Toronto (CCAS) has been protecting children from physical, emotional, sexual abuse and neglect for more than 110 years. Mandated under the Child and Family Services Act and funded by the Government of Ontario, CCAS is the second largest child welfare agency in greater Toronto. When we receive a call concerning abuse or neglect of a child, our specially trained staff investigates, assesses the risk to the child and if needed, develops a plan to keep the child safe. In most cases, we are able to work with families to address safety concerns while keeping the child at home.
