About this organization
The Tweeny STARS (STrong And ReSilient) is a drop in for LGBTQ+ youth between ages 12 to 16. This program offers a safe space for tweens to learn more about themselves, connect with each other and grow.
Since starting in 2017, the group averages approximately 30 youth per day. Tweeny STARS youth are able to engage in all the regular activities of The Studio, in addition to exclusive workshops and field trips. Staff are able to support the youth with LGBTQ+ specific referrals, such as gender affirming, medical & social transitioning, mental & physical health services, educational resources, parent & guardian support, etc.
Who can use it?
Youth ages 13-21, inclusive of Queer and Trans Youth.
