About this organization
Founded in 1981, the Sickle Cell Association of Ontario (SCAO) is a volunteer, non-profit, community based organization working in collaboration with other organizations to improve the health and social well being of individuals and families with Sickle Cell Disease. Our Programs and Services are geared towards supporting those who are currently living with Sickle Cell Disease and the people who support them. We use a CARE model towards providing this needed support:
