About this organization
The Human Rights Legal Support Centre (HRLSC) is an independent agency, funded by the Government of Ontario, to provide legal services to individuals who have experienced discrimination. The HRLSC provides legal assistance to individuals when they take an application to the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario to resolve a human rights dispute. The HRLSC is the laureate of the 2018 Amethyst Award, which recognizes service excellence within the Ontario Public Service.
The Human Rights Legal Support Centre (HRLSC) offers human rights legal services to individuals throughout Ontario who have experienced discrimination contrary to Ontario's Human Rights Code. Our services may include legal assistance in filing applications at the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario (HRTO), and legal representation at mediations and hearings.
