About this organization

Hachnosas Kallah Toronto was established in 1974 by Mrs. Hella Nussbaum A'H, with the help of a very devoted group of dedicated volunteers. In order to meet the needs of growing families and a growing community, the organization expanded throughout the years, while the demand for financial assistance has increased exponentially. The costs of establishing a new couple continue to rise. Through its services, Hachnosas Kallah goal is to help alleviate some of the financial stress during this happy but challenging time. We are committed to helping qualifying families from all walks of Jewish life. We help on average 75 families per year and the numbers continue to grow.
