About this organization
Community Food Centres Canada builds and supports vibrant food focussed organizations in low-income communities across the country that bring people together to grow, cook, share and advocate for policies that improve the health and well-being of marginalized Canadians. We provide stable funding, resources and a proven program model to local Affiliate Community Food Centres so they can operate responsive and impact-driven Community Food Centres. We also work with the broader food movement (training, leadership and grants) to build greater capacity for impact and to empower communities to work toward a healthy and fair food system.
