About this organization
Therapy can seem intimidating, but it is an important step toward better mental health that affects every aspect of our lives. It takes strength, courage and commitment to acknowledge that there are parts of yourself and your life that you would like to change. This may include concerns with self-worth, depression, anxiety, isolation, relationships and work. This process can help you to gain a greater understanding of yourself, your experiences and how contexts have shaped these experiences.
We can work together in a way that is supportive, authentic and collaborative. Although therapy can be difficult, I find one of the ways to make it more comfortable is to know that its okay to laugh and find humour in it. I combine therapies such as cognitive behavioural, acceptance and commitment, dialectical behavioural, mindfulness-based, psychodynamic and compassion-focused approaches.
