About this organization
Aldebrain is a registered charitable organization that was founded in 1984 by a group mainly comprised of physically disabled adult students from York University. Together they moved forward with the aim of providing support services for disabled persons in a family setting
Aldebrain was formed for the purpose of providing support services and housing for adults who are physically disabled and for families that need accessible housing in a community environment. We believe that people with disabilities have the right to live independently within the community in their own homes. Aldebrain accomplish this by providing support services and housing in family and individual sized apartments.
