About this organization

Agape is a community church that has been engaged in community outreach in Jane and Finch (Black Creek) for over 20 years.

Our main activities in which we are involved:

  • Food distribution in conjunction with the Salvation Army
  • Support for Single Mothers and their children through the Program JMAK (Just Me And the Kids),
  • Empowerment of youth through the program WAVE (Winners with an Active Voice of Excellence WAVE) and online via Youth Connect
  • Empowerment & upliftment of Seniors through outreach programs (Seniors Helping Seniors, Cooks R Us, Edu-Seniors)
  • Engagement of Young Adults in meaningful discussion through the online program Chosen.
  • Development of children and their abilities through Kids Speak and Jesus And Me online(JAM)
  • Couples and Men's Ministry Meetings online
  • Substance abuse prevention programs,
  • Food and clothing distribution and social support to New Refugees & New Immigrants to Canada,
