About this service
The Community Treatment Order (CTO) Program provides individuals with serious mental illness a comprehensive plan of community based treatment or care and supervision that is less restrictive than being detained in a psychiatric facility. The Mental Health Act lists specific criteria that need to be met to issue or renew a CTO. Please contact the CTO coordinator for more information at (705) 267-6315.
The Timmins and District Hospital provides psychiatric consultation and follow-up on an out-patient basis through the Outpatient Mental Health Department (OPMH).
