Crisis Intervention: for individuals who walk in, or call, in need of immediate help e.g. persons who are intoxicated, physically ill or injured, emotionally distressed etc. - a front line worker assesses the situation and makes necessary arrangements for the individual to get to the hospital or the detox centre, meet with a physician, or a mental health worker.
