About this organization
Purpose:
- To unite all the Senior Citizens of the area.
- To provide an opportunity to meet and participate in various activities.
- To provide fellowship.
- To provide pertinent information to the members.
- To prevent loneliness, isolation and contribute to the well-being of all seniors.
The Timmins Senior Centre is Bilingual (French & English)
Accessibility: Fully accessible, however the table shuffleboard, the exercise room, darts, meditation and 2 of the 3 billiards tables are on a lower level. Individuals will need to go downstairs. Main level is where all other activities are held.
The Timmins Transit Station is adjacent to the Timmins Senior Centre. Individuals could take the city bus and simply cross the street to the Centre.
