About this service
The District of Thunder Bay Social Services Administration Board (TBDSSAB) provides a wide variety of affordable housing programs in partnership with the provincial and federal governments including: Forgivable loans for homeowners to repair their homes, bring them up to health and safety standards, and improve accessibility for persons with disabilities; Capital funding to develop rental at affordable rates; Capital funding for essential repairs and renovations that improve the health and safety of residents living in social housing; Rent supplements; Grants to assist households who are homeless or at risk of homelessness with rent and utility arrears.
