Our school age program is licensed for up to 30 school aged children, however, it is currently being operated at a maximum capacity of 15 children with 1 educator. The staff-to-child ratio for school aged children is 1 staff member for every 15 children. The school age program is based on meeting the unique individual needs of the school-aged child in an informal, relaxed environment in which each child can make activity choices within a recreational atmosphere. The educator will provide stimulating, challenging, and fun experiences through creative art, science and exploration, language, and physical activities. These activities intertwine with the Indigenous culture, promoting identity, language, and culture retention for the children.
