About this service
Our Augmentative and Alternative Communication Program (ACP) provides assessment and support to individuals in Northwestern Ontario who have difficulty meeting their communication needs through verbal or written means due to illness, physical or developmental disabilities. High-tech and low-tech equipment may be prescribed through our Expanded Level Clinic, as authorized by the Assistive Devices Program of the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. Prescribed equipment may be purchased by the client, or may be accessible for lease through The Centralized Equipment Pool.
