About this service

Community Outreach provides personal assistance to individuals with physical disabilities. The personal assistance service is available in an individual's own home, on a scheduled basis for a maximum of four hours per day. CSINW encourages individuals to further maximize their level of independence by providing the opportunity for consumers to assume complete responsibility for hiring, training, scheduling and managing their own Personal Assistants.Personal assistance is not provided through community outreach if an individual's needs may be more appropriately serviced through an alternative service such as the Community Care Access Centre (CCAC).
