The Community Action Program for Children helps families and at risk children by helping parents and guardians with pre-natal, infant and child nutrition as well as parenting and care-giving skills. Program Staff work with Métis families to promote healthy lifestyle choices and provide them with access to cultural teachings and community development. By providing this training and support to families the Program helps children in at risk situations lead better healthier lives and helps prevent at risk situations before they happen.
Who it is for
Métis children 0 to 6 years of age and their families who are living in at risk conditions.
