About this service
Since first establishing a presence in the northern community, CHS has proudly provided industry-leading services and products that enable Deaf and hard of hearing Thunder Bay residents to overcome barriers to participation. CHS programs and services in Thunder Bay include: Interpreting services, General Support Services and Hearing Care Counselling, Literacy and Basic Skills training, and American Sign Language classes. The office also provides Hearing Care Counselling to the Kenora and Dryden communities. The Canadian Hearing Society employs six people at its Thunder Bay office.
