About this service

Mobility Assistance may provide financial assistance, in special circumstances, to unemployed or underemployed individuals who have a verified employment interview in an area where job opportunities are greater, or who are moving based on a written offer of employment. Contribution to travel expenses based on distance travelled, where the total distance is in excess of 150 kms, plus accommodations and meals (See Finance Policy for Mobility Rates). Requests must total a minimum of $50 to qualify for AETS funding. A maximum of two (2) Mobility interventions per client will be funded in any 52-week period. In the case of Relocation, there will be a limit of one approval per participant.
