About this organization
Since it was established in 1998, PRO Kids has made nearly 22,270 placements of local children and youth into recreational activities in Thunder Bay. With over 200 community organizations to choose from, PRO Kids and its partners share in providing program spaces to local children and youth. Organizations donate spaces in their programs and PRO Kids fills these spaces with children who have applied for assistance. Each experience provides the opportunity for youth to develop into positive, contributing members of our community as they learn new skills, teamwork and cooperation. The sense of pride in their abilities leads to a sense of achievement and self-confidence.
