Down Syndrome Niagara is a parent volunteer driven organization. Through advocacy and support we are dedicated to improving opportunities for people with Down syndrome that promote independence, confidence and inclusion.
We are committed to:
SUPPORT, Provide resources, peer support and a sense of belonging.
ADVOCACY, Improve awareness in the community about the abilities of individuals with Down syndrome that promotes inclusion and increased opportunities for employment, training and recreational activities
RESEARCH, Learn about ongoing or developing global and domestic studies related to health and wellness. Share findings and opportunities with members that may want to participate.
