About this service
The CHPI program: Housing with Related Supports is a program with a focus on assisting people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless to find and/or maintain their housing. It is somewhat unique from our core services in that it is funded through the Regional Municipality of Durham as opposed to Ministry of Community and Social Services which funds the majority of our other services.
The program can assist with connecting to emergency housing and/or shelters, advocating and mediation with landlords, harm reduction supplies, ID replacement and applications to the Housing Stability Program etc.
