About this service
Individual counselling sessions are open to those experiencing problems in their lives as a result of verbal or physical aggression and poor decision making. The goal of anger management is to reduce both negative emotional feelings and the physiological arousal that anger causes. Once this is achieved, participants can use new skills to control impulses, alter self-defeating thinking, assert themselves and problem solve. This allows the participant to contribute to healthier relationships and live pro-socially in the community.
