Quinte West Medical Centre is situated at 149 North Murray Street, previously the site of the Camomile Medical Centre. The City of Quinte West purchased this medical facility in September 2022 and is working with partners to update the building and make it available as leased clinic and office space for doctors serving residents in Quinte West. It is part of a broader initiative to recruit and retain family physicians in the region, driven by the Docs By the Bay program, a partnership between the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation and the City of Quinte West. The program, established in 2017, includes medical education opportunities, outreach activities, and creating a supportive medical community, serving a total population of 56,000.
