Loyalist College's Indigenous Resource Centre aids Indigenous students on campus and also operates as a liaison among the college administration, Indigenous communities, and government agencies. It aims to assist students in adjusting to college life, provide an environment for pupils to express and develop their Indigenous identity, and encourage student participation in the college community. The center offers services such as pre-admission counseling, orientation for new students, academic and individual counseling, referral for other post-secondary education institutions, tutoring, mentor referral, and assistance for special activities and events. Additionally, it offers study space, computers, internet, a library, and keeps Indigenous newsletters and papers. The centre also focuses on building rapport with the college and community by organizing information workshops, being a liaison, and referring students to other departments and services.
