VICTORIAN ORDER OF NURSES, HASTINGS, NORTHUMBERLAND, PRINCE EDWARD COMMUNITY CORPORATION

VON is a long-standing non-profit organization that has been dedicated to providing care at home for more than a century. They work closely with clients, employees, volunteers, and partners to offer comprehensive clinical, personal, and social support to individuals who prefer to live in their own homes and communities. VON also plays a crucial role in fundraising for the local Con Site, which serves the areas of Hastings, Northumberland, and Prince Edward. The foundation grants provided to the site contribute to various professional treatments, educational assessments, and caregiver assistance for people of all ages dealing with a wide range of illnesses and injuries. The programs funded by VON include visiting nursing, community support healthcare and education, friendly visiting, meals on wheels, diners club, transportation, foot care, adult day services, respite care, as well as personal support worker programs and SMART programs.
