About this organization
The Trenton Care & Share Food Bank is an independent organization aimed at providing food to those facing food insecurity within specific areas of Quinte West. Established in 1985, the organization accepts donations from the public, service clubs, churches, and businesses and operates under the Charitable Gifts Act. It is a member of Feed Ontario and has good relations with Food Banks Canada. The individual or entity that donates or distributes the food is protected under the Donation of Food Act, 1994. The food bank has relocated several times since its establishment, with the most recent move in 2018 to a permanent location at 30 Pelham Street.
