St. Leonard's Youth Housing Transitional Housing

St. Leonard’s HPE offers long-term transitional housing for youth between the ages of 15 and 24 who need safe, stable housing, life-skills development and the sense of permanence needed to reach their full potential in their chosen community. This four room, congregate transitional housing space in Quinte West, Ontario is supported by 24/7 staff, a dedicated team member to oversee shared responsibilities, one-to-one case management and vital transportation support. The goal of the Supported Independent Living Program is preparing youth for sustainable independence by providing the opportunity to develop life-skills, attend school and/or training programs, build community connections and restore natural systems of support. Eligibility Criteria: Walk-ins not accepted, call for eligibility and support. Youth between the ages of 15 and 24 who are without safe, alternative living arrangements and who are engaged in education, employment, trades or other training programs may be eligible to apply. Youth must complete an application, demonstrate interest in life-skills development, and be currently enrolled in school or employed.. All services are voluntary and youth participation is an on-going eligibility requirement.
