About this organization
St. Leonard’s HPE offers comprehensive prevention and on-going wrap around supports for youth at risk of homelessness in Hastings and Prince Edward counties. Eligible youth may receive the support needed to prevent eviction and/or obtain housing to avoid experiencing or re-experiencing homelessness. Supports include system navigation, employment preparation, housing application support, tenants rights and responsibilities programming, transportation to vital services, safety planning, 24/7 phone support, and life-skills development. Housing loss prevention and community integration services are tailored to each youth’s needs based on their unique situation. Community integration services are provided to promote sustainable independence, increase safety, and offer continuous support during a young person’s transition into adulthood. Eligibility Criteria: Youth between the ages of 15 and 24 who are at risk of housing loss within Hastings and Prince Edward counties.
