About this organization
The Royal Canadian Legion is Canadas largest Veteran support and community service organization. They are dedicated to supporting and making a significant difference in the lives of Veterans, including members of the Canadian Armed Forces, RCMP, and their families, by providing essential services within their communities. The organization remembers and honors those who have sacrificed for the country. The Legion offers various services such as helping with transitioning to civilian life, financial assistance, mental health and PTSD support, assistance with Veteran Affairs Canada (VAC), support for homeless Veterans, and more. The Legion also has a role in youth education, leadership, sports, and community programs. Membership is open to all, and you do not have to be a Veteran to join and show your support.
