About this service
The preschool program focuses on preparing the children for their shift to school, and on making this transition smooth. The children are introduced to consistent routines and they learn how to manage their own behaviour and become more confident in their social interactions. The program promotes problem solving, language and literacy, and responds to their innate curiosity and eagerness to question and to learn.
Parents/guardians receive daily feedback on their child's day and are encouraged to reciprocate with their child's teachers as necessary to support the child's ongoing needs. Parents/guardians are welcome and encouraged to review their child's progress by speaking with the staff and/or taking some time to review the photos and curriculum plans that are displayed in the centre.
