About this organization
Les Lucioles Inc. Daycare Centre welcomes young Francophones aged 6 months to 13 years. The six (6) licensed Center is licensed by the Ministry of Education and meets all requirements of the Ontario Child Care and Early Years Act 2014. It also works in partnership with various child and family support agencies. It offers full-time and part-time programs, as well as day camps during the summer for children from kindergarten to 13 years old.We serve and offer families in the large community of Durham region quality and educational services in French, while respecting the cultural diversity of our clientele. We consider the child to be a complex, unique and complete being, competent, capable, curious and rich in possibilities. We promote active learning that respects the pace and abilities of the child.
