Wiisindadaa: Let's Eat!

• A community-based and Indigenous-specific diabetes prevention program that seeks to improve health outcomes for urban Indigenous people of all ages by increasing access, knowledge and skills related to healthy eating, preparing nutritious and traditional foods, and Indigenous ways of knowing.

Healthy Kids Program

• The Healthy Kids program provides healthy lifestyle opportunities to children, youth and their families.

Healthy Living Program

• The program provides the urban Indigenous community with hands-on experience through interactive workshops, healthy nutrition information, cooking classes, fitness training, smoking cessation support, sport and recreational activities, all to introduce healthier options and alternatives to an overall healthy lifestyle.

Life Long Care

• The program provides cultural, community-based support services to urban Indigenous people, of all ages, who are living with a physical disability, are chronically ill or/and are frail elderly.
