About this service
Accredited children's mental health agency provides a range of free and confidential services to children and youth who have emotional, social and behavioural problems. Also offers support to families and caregivers. Multidisciplinary team includes social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, child and youth workers and nursing staff.
Presenting concerns include attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, behaviour problems at home and school, extreme mood swings, aggressive and/or oppositional behaviour, destruction of property, cruelty to animals and fire setting.
Treatment services, early intervention and outreach programs:
* individual and family counselling
* intensive in-home services
* day treatment
* residential care
* psychiatric and psychological clinical consultation services
* Triple P parent education programs
Who can use it?
18 years and younger. Families/youth 12+ can make their own referral via central intake number
