About this service
The Home program is a supportive-housing program that started July 2017. We strive to provide housing and community for individuals struggling with chronic homelessness and disengagement. We currently own 1 house, and partner with four private landlords, to provide 23 congregant living spots for individuals in the community. We work wih external organizations, volunteers, and our own staff to provide a range of supports for tenants, including mantaining housing, connecting with community, accessing health services, furthering their education, increasing wellbeing, and supporting individuals in whatever goals they strive to reach.
We believe housing is a right. Through the Home program, we strive to create affordable, safe, and sustainable housing for those struggling with homelessness in our community of Peterborough.
