About this service
Telemedicine provides access to health care for the residents of Peterborough City and County who would otherwise be unable to attend a clinical appointment based on location and need for travel. Through telemedicine, patients are connected to health care providers/specialists using a two-way videoconferencing system, along with the latest tele-diagnostic instruments (ie. digital stethoscopes and patient examination cameras). A Registered Nurse is on staff to provide support during the telemedicine appointment.
