The be well centre is a community of health care professionals dedicated to wellness and health in Peterborough, Ontario.
Professional, shame-free counselling for parents and guardians experiencing mental/emotional health and adjustment challenges during baby's first 12 months of age. Appointments available by eCounselling (using device/computer), over the phone or in-person at the Be Well Centre.
Goals of counselling include:
- Reduce distress, overwhelm, shame
- Improve anxiety and mood management while caring for your baby
- Gain knowledge and skills to manage intrusive or unwanted thoughts
- Explore your own meaningful identity as a parent/guardian of your unique baby
- Address past experiences of postpartum depression/anxiety
