About this organization
Our programs, philosophy and approach to working with children at Perth Children's House (PCH) is inspired by Maria Montessori and, as such, is built around independence, a sense of order and completion of tasks. Our Montessori method-based Casa program serves children ages 30 months to 6 years. The three-year program is meant to instill a love of learning, self confidence and greater understanding in literacy, mathematics, and the world at large. Children may start once they have reached the age of 30 months. However, they must start the program prior to the year of their 4th birthday, unless they are joining us from another Montessori school. PCH is licensed as a daycare under the Ministry of Education and abides by the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA).
