In their role, the counselor and advocate support women aged 16 and over, and their children who are involved with CAS and/or affected by violence. Women requiring support with court, visitation, circle of care meeting, victim services, police, shelters, and healing, can self refer to the worker and will receive one-on-one services for themselves and their family to move toward reunification of the family unit and towards safety.
