About this service
Participation in sport or physical activity is an integral part of your recovery, but the financial cost may be too high.
We can provide you with short-term financial support so that the cost does not stand in the way of your active lifestyle. Weve already given more than $8 million directly to support your peers.
We can help you:
- acquire sporting or recreational equipment; and/or
- participate in structured group activities.
As an official grant program of the Canadian Armed Forces, the Fund is entirely financially supported through donations received from Canadians, members of the Canadian Armed Forces, small businesses, corporations, and foundations.
Due to the increased demand for the Soldier On Grant, our equipment grant program is currently on pause and we are unable to accept new applications at this time. Please check back again in the fall when we're aiming to be able to re-open the grant program and accept new applications. Thank you.
Who can use it?
Any CAF Veteran who acquired permanent physical, mental health illness or injury while serving.
