About this service
The safety of our patients is very important to us. QCH's Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) Department has a comprehensive program to identify and reduce the risk of hospital-acquire infections. Through surveillance and education are staff are committed to ensuring we provide a safe and healthy environment for our patients and their families.
IPAC provides education for patients, visitors, Volunteers, hospital staff and Physicians about infectious and communicable diseases. IPAC policies and procedures help to protect and improve the safety of everyone in the hospital.
