About this service

MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS

This program offers rides to seniors in need of a drive to medical appointments and is heavily reliant on volunteer drivers.

PERSONAL SHOPPING

OWCS offers seniors an opportunity to go the Carlingwood Shopping Centre for personal shopping and banking. Clients are picked up and dropped off at home after the shopping trip. A volunteer accompanies the seniors to the Mall.

GROCERY SHOPPING

Our OWCS van will pick up clients up at their home and drive them to the Carlingwood Loblaws. A volunteer remains with clients at the store and will also assist carrying groceries into the home.
