About this service
The Housing Support Program is specifically for youth ages 16 and 17 who have current involvement with the Childrens Aid Society (CAS), past CAS involvement or who are eligible for CAS supports and services that are not currently involved with CAS. In order to qualify for this program, youth ages 16 & 17 must consent to a voluntary youth support agreement (VYSA).
The Housing Support Worker is also responsible for ensuring that youth receive support in the following areas:
- Education
- Employment
- Mental Health
- Substance Use
- Life Skills
- Financial Literacy
- And any other area that support housing retention
