The Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) is pleased to offer the Métis Self-Employment Program. This program offers participants the skills and support necessary to develop a business plan, start a small business, and sustain their business activities. The program also provides funds and support to assist clients with mentorship, coaching, and ongoing technical advice. Coaching offered through the program will be tailored to the individual's needs and can include business plan development, accounting, marketing, computer skills, and access to self-employment support services. To be eligible for this program, applicants must be Métis individuals who are either unemployed, underemployed, or whose employment is at risk due to labor market changes, insufficient employment skills, or certification.
