About this service
To accomplish its mission well, Maison d'amiti can only welcome women and children temporarily. In 1991, it set up a component aimed on the one hand at monitoring the development of ex-residents in their autonomy in order to support them in their progress despite the end of their stay. The workers in this program support women through the procedures undertaken (housing, legal, financial, etc.) and offer them support in times of insecurity.The workers in the transitional support program play a support role and inform women of their rights and the resources available to them. In addition, they provide direct liaison with other community organizations adapted to their needs.
